Avevo visto che lo streamer SmallAnt era stato pagato dal suo detentore del record mondiale per fare la speed run di Cooking Mama 2 Ai fornelli con gli amici. Il suo obiettivo era quello di ottenere un "punteggio oro" in tutte le 80 ricette, così ho pensato: perché no? Così sono andata su eBay e mi sono procurata la cartuccia.
Let me ask you a question; have you ever heard of "The Sims"? I imagine most of you have, but for those who haven't, it's a series of 'life simulation' games where you can create your character and watch them live, although you can take full control if you want to. Your Sims can find a job, get married, have children, grow older, die, etc. Basically, if something can happen in real life, there'll likely be a way for it to happen in the Sims, even if you have to delve into fan-created mods.
This game, which has a needlessly long title that I keep forgetting and thus having to look it up, is a visual novel with cooking and rhythm elements for Nintendo DS, based on an anime called "Cookin' Idol Ai! Mai! Main!", which is supposed to teach kids how to cook. I started it thinking it was Cooking Mama with kawaii anime graphics, and now I can't stop singing Ai Mai Main! Remember kids, always double-check your games before playing them!
I saw that the streamer SmallAnt had been paid to speed run Cooking Mama 2 Dinner With Friends by its World Record holder. His aim was to get a "gold rating" in all 80 recipes, so I thought, why not? Thus I hopped onto eBay and got myself a cartridge.
